What is Taipei Fashion Week, and can you take part without a runway invitation? For a first visit, start by understanding the programme and choosing an event that welcomes the public. It can be a rewarding way to discover clothes, design and a different side of the city.
What is Taipei Fashion Week? A closer look at clothes and design
Taipei Fashion Week brings together events where fashion brands present their work and connect with audiences and the industry. For a brand, it is a chance to give a collection a coherent shape and introduce it to media and buyers. For someone who enjoys clothes, it reveals how individual pieces work together through styling, movement and presentation.
Runway: models appear in a sequence of looks. Watch the complete outfits, how the clothes move, and how the brand builds a rhythm across the collection.
Presentation: the brand presents its collection through a designed space or performance rather than necessarily seating everyone beside a runway. This season’s SS27 presentations take place on the historic building’s second floor. Admission still depends on the individual event.
Trade Show: the focus is on brand displays, exchange and business connections. This season also welcomes public visiting and shopping, with clothing and accessories to explore across different brands. These formats serve different purposes; access to one does not automatically include the others.
When planning for October 2026, check the full event name. The Taipei Fashion Week × VOGUE FNO crossover fashion show takes place at Taipei Music Center on October 3. The SS27 brand shows and exhibitions run at C-LAB from October 15 to 18. This guide focuses on the latter’s public Trade Show and a shopping itinerary; the two events have separate venues and admission information.
Can anyone visit? Start with the public Trade Show
Yes, by choosing the right event. The SS27 Trade Show brings together clothing and accessory brands. Think of it as an exhibition where you can browse brand displays and look at pieces up close. The organiser has confirmed that the public can visit and shop during the exhibition, making it a clear starting point without a runway invitation.
Runway shows and presentations have their own admission arrangements. Entry to the grounds or Trade Show does not give you access to every show. Check each event’s official information and any updates before travelling.
On the programme, look for labels such as “OPEN TO PUBLIC”. “Invitation Only” means you need to follow that event’s invitation arrangements. If you are following the October 3 show instead, its VOGUE FNO page also lists a VOGUE Taiwan YouTube livestream. Follow the organiser’s link for viewing information.

What is C-LAB? Get to know this year’s venue
C-LAB stands for Taiwan Contemporary Culture Lab, a cultural venue for art exhibitions, performances and other creative activities. It occupies the former Air Force headquarters, which explains its local nickname, Kongzong, or “air headquarters”. You are visiting a former military site that has become a cultural space in Taipei’s Da’an District. It is separate from Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, also known as Songyan.
Taipei Fashion Week SS27 takes place here on October 15–18, 2026. The public Trade Show is on the first floor of the historic building, open 11:00–19:00 each day. The site is at No. 177, Section 1, Jianguo South Road, Da’an District, within walking distance of Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT station. Indoor venues follow their individual event schedules.
Explore the exhibition and notice which necklines, colours or proportions catch your eye. Afterwards, continue to Songyan and try those ideas in your own wardrobe. C-LAB and Songyan are separate stops, so leave room for the journey.

ARVOpm at Taipei Fashion Week: what happened in 2025?
ARVOpm participated in the SS26 Business Matchmaking Trade Show during Taipei Fashion Week in 2025, as recorded in the official brand database and selected-brand announcement. The brand presented its collection through a booth, clothing displays and a catalogue at an event designed to connect brands with international buyers.
The archive photograph shows complete outfits on mannequins, individual pieces on rails and a catalogue to browse. Compared with a look passing along a runway, this kind of display invites a slower comparison: how do the pieces relate, and what could work together in a wardrobe?
For us, the most interesting part of fashion week is leaving with a clearer sense of how you want to dress. That is the reason to continue from an exhibition to a store: break an appealing look down into a neckline, shoulder, hem length and trouser shape, then put it together around your own proportions.
What is ARVOpm’s style? Modern classics for everyday life
ARVOpm takes its name from “arvo”, Australian slang for afternoon. Early references and design directions drew on observations of light, space and pace in Melbourne; today, Taipei is the centre of its operations, retail and content. In clothes, that translates into clear lines with room for a personal rhythm, rather than a uniform borrowed from one city.
Modern Classic means reconsidering familiar pieces. A shirt retains the structure of a collar, placket and pocket; trousers keep considered details at the waist and pleats. Length, volume and styling make those pieces useful for work, meeting friends or the weekend. ARVOpm and SST&C appear within the official dual-brand platform with distinct positions; ARVOpm focuses on modern classics, everyday dressing and gender-inclusive silhouettes.
Unisex does not mean everyone should choose the same oversized fit. Shoulder placement, room across the chest, and movement through the waist, hips and thighs affect how clothes sit on different bodies. Compare the flat garment measurements with something that already fits you, then sit, raise your arms and walk in the piece. That tells you more than a menswear or womenswear label alone.
ARVOpm’s approach to design and fit · Official dual-brand platform
01 / The Cuban-collar shirt: change the mood at the neckline
The Blue Textured Cuban-Collar Pocket Shirt has a standard fit and a polyester, cotton and linen blend. Look at two details together: the open collar leaves space around the neck, while the textured surface gives a solid-colour shirt another layer of interest up close. A front pocket keeps a familiar, practical shirt detail.
For meeting friends, start with dark trousers and let the blue and texture lead. For a weekend, try it open over a plain top. You can change the degree of formality without replacing the whole outfit: begin with the neckline, inner layer and hem.
In the fitting room, compare the hem loose and tucked in, and see where your waist becomes visible. Raise your arms and check for pulling across the chest or back. “Standard fit” is not a promise that the same size will suit everyone; check shoulder width, flat chest measurement and length.

02 / The apricot cardigan: let the inner layer do some work
The Collared Open-Knit Apricot Cardigan has a relaxed silhouette, short sleeves, a collar and two pockets. Its composition is 85% viscose and 15% polyester. The collar gives the upper body a clear frame, while the open-front construction allows you to change the relationship between layers.
Button it and let the knit become the focus, or wear it open over white to introduce a vertical line. Dark and white trousers also give the same piece a different visual weight. Trying two ways of wearing one garment is a useful way to judge its place in your wardrobe.
If you expect to wear it as an outer layer, try it with that layer underneath and check the chest, upper arms and underarms for room. Notice where the hem meets the waistband, too. That relationship often matters more to the overall proportion than whether the garment is simply described as loose.

03 / White straight-leg trousers: start at the waist
The White Straight-Leg Trousers are a mid-rise, pure-cotton design with front pleats, a metal ring at a belt loop and practical pockets. White brings attention to the lower half of an outfit, while the straight leg provides a clear starting point for stripes, blue shirts or knitwear.
The photographs show the same trouser style with a striped top and a blue top. Choose the upper half around the day you have in mind: a shirt for a sharper combination, or a polo or knit for a more relaxed one. A change of top and shoes can give the same trousers a different role in your day.
First check that the waist sits securely and that you can sit without pulling through the hips and thighs. Then look at where the hem meets your shoes. A straight leg does not prescribe one length for everyone, so try the trousers with shoes you actually wear. The size chart gives flat garment measurements, not your body’s waist circumference.

From C-LAB to Songyan
For a more relaxed plan, visit the Trade Show first and leave the later afternoon or early evening for Songyan. If you already have an invitation to an evening event, put the store visit first. Splitting the two stops across different days is also an option; the point is to leave time to look and try things on.
After visiting the Trade Show, continue to Songyan by public transport or taxi. For an MRT route, walk to Zhongxiao Fuxing, take the Bannan Line towards Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, get off at Taipei City Hall, and walk to eslite spectrum Songyan. C-LAB lists an approximately six-minute walk between Zhongxiao Fuxing Exit 2 and its east entrance. Eslite lists a roughly 400-metre walk from Taipei City Hall Exit 1 to its Songyan store. Allow additional time to leave the venue, wait for a train and walk between stops.
You will find ARVOpm on 2F of eslite spectrum Songyan, No. 88, Yanchang Road, Xinyi District, Taipei. Store hours are 11:00–22:00. Leave enough time to try things on; if your event ends late, visit before it or return the following day. Styles and sizes are subject to availability in store.
Give your eyes time to explore at the exhibition, then let your own comfort guide the decision in the fitting room. Bringing fashion-week inspiration into daily life can be as simple as finding a piece you want to wear tomorrow.
