Arriving early for a game or a show leaves time for more than waiting outside the venue. Around Taipei Dome, you can meet over coffee, try on clothes, look for shoes or jewellery, and sit down for a meal. This guide groups eight stops across Garden City, Eslite Spectrum Songyan, Lane 553 and Guangfu South Road, with three shorter routes to help you choose.
Start with one thing you want to do, then add another stop if time allows. On event days, check the entrance and admission time on your ticket and leave room for the return journey and security checks.
Know the four areas before you go
VELEGANT is on the third floor of Garden City. ARVOpm is on the second floor of Eslite Spectrum Songyan at No. 88, Yanchang Road. TROPO, Hermit’s Hut, ORINGO and Hërs are in the lanes off Section 4 of Zhongxiao East Road; SST&C Guangfu and Ya Yuen are on Guangfu South Road.
These are separate locations with outdoor stretches between them and different opening hours. On a rainy day, concentrate shopping in one building and cross to another area only if your booking and the weather allow.
01 TROPO Coffee A coffee stop with everyday objects
TROPO combines coffee with a modern-retro setting and its own clothing, accessories and lifestyle objects. It works as a meeting point before heading towards Songyan, or as a stop in its own right when a coffee is all you have planned.
Its current official profile lists 11:00–18:00 and no reservations. If there is a queue on an event day, adjust the visit around your admission time rather than assuming a seat will be available. Check the day’s menu for what is being served.

02 Hermit’s Hut 三徑就荒 A pause for tea
Hermit’s Hut centres its space on tea, with an interest in objects, exhibitions and cultural gatherings. Make it a deliberate pause between shops: allow time to choose a tea rather than treating it as a quick takeaway stop.
It shares Alley 46 with ORINGO Songyan, making shoes and tea a useful pairing. Check the latest seating and exhibition arrangements directly, and give this stop enough time to enjoy without rushing.

03 ARVOpm Songyan Clothing music and a pool table
On the second floor of Eslite Spectrum Songyan, ARVOpm places its clothing among wooden cabinets, green carpeting and a pool table. A prominent sound system adds another point of interest. It is a stop for browsing clothes after coffee or an exhibition, with a closer look at the music and everyday interests behind the brand.
The brand’s wardrobe includes Cuban-collar shirts, collared cardigans and straight-leg trousers, pairing clean lines with relaxed necklines and styling. Browse the categories online before visiting, then try pieces in person. Ask the store ahead if you have a particular style or size in mind.

04 ORINGO Taipei Songshan See shoes with the rest of your outfit
ORINGO’s Songyan store takes inspiration from a shoemaker’s working and living space and carries men’s shoes, women’s shoes and accessories. When trying a pair, look at the relationship between the shoe, the trouser hem and your foot rather than judging it only on the shelf.
Bring the socks you usually wear and ask ahead about specific styles and sizes. Store stock and online stock are separate, so a direct check is useful before making a special trip.

05 VELEGANT at Garden City Try the finishing detail
For jewellery after clothes shopping, visit VELEGANT on Garden City’s third floor. The brand offers natural diamonds, coloured gemstones and everyday jewellery. Try pieces on to compare necklace lengths, the scale of earrings or how a ring sits on your hand.
This guide refers to the Garden City counter, not the Taipei showroom on Keelung Road. Contact the brand ahead for a specific design, size or custom request. Counter hours follow the department store.

06 SST&C Guangfu Shop womenswear and menswear together
SST&C’s Guangfu street-front store carries both womenswear and menswear. It is a useful stop for friends looking for work or dinner outfits: start with a gap in your existing wardrobe, then compare jackets, tops and trousers.
Ya Yuen is on the same road, so shopping can lead into a booked meal. If ARVOpm is also on your list, allow time to travel separately to Eslite Spectrum Songyan. The two stores have distinct locations and clothing selections.

07 Hërs biströ A meal in the Lane 553 neighbourhood
Hërs is an option for turning an afternoon around Songyan into a seated meal. Check its official booking page for your preferred date and time, then arrange ORINGO, a tea stop or other shopping around the reservation.
Treat this as a meal with time to sit down. Confirm the current menu and service times before going; if a game or performance follows, plan the reservation around when you need to leave.

08 Ya Yuen Share a Cantonese dim sum meal
Ya Yuen on Guangfu South Road is a choice for a Cantonese dim sum meal with your group. Decide on the number of diners and the meal time first, then fit shopping and the event around it.
The restaurant asks guests to book directly. Call 02-2752-1112 to ask about tables, that day’s service and ordering times. Once the meal is arranged, decide whether to add SST&C beforehand or leave more time to catch up with your group.

Have coffee, try clothes at Eslite Spectrum Songyan, then add Garden City for jewellery if time allows. Keeping only the first two stops works when you have an event to get to.
An afternoon in the lanes ORINGO → Hermit’s Hut → Hërs
Try shoes, pause for tea and finish with a booked meal. Confirm the tea house’s arrangements and the restaurant slot before planning the afternoon around them.
Shopping and dim sum SST&C → Ya Yuen
Keep the plan on Guangfu South Road: shop first, then head to dim sum at your reserved time. Fewer changes of area make the day easier to adjust.

Are all eight places inside the Taipei Dome mall
No. VELEGANT is in Garden City, while ARVOpm is in Eslite Spectrum Songyan. The other stops are in Lane 553 or on Guangfu South Road.
What if there is little time before the event
Choose one main stop and, at most, one extra. TROPO and ARVOpm make a coffee-and-clothes pairing. For a seated meal, settle the restaurant booking first and reduce cross-neighbourhood travel.
Can the route stay entirely indoors when it rains
This list covers several areas with outdoor stretches. Concentrate on Eslite Spectrum Songyan or Garden City, and shorten the street-side part of your plan as needed.
